How to Win at Checkers

Checkers is a game played by two persons, each with twelve pieces, on a checker-board. You can only move forward on the black squares until you reach the king row and then you can move that piece forward and backward. You must take jumps when offered, even if it means you lose two or more pieces in the process.

If at all inherent you want to gain the advantage by taking two for one or position your piece between two opposing pieces where your opponent has no choice but to give up one or the other.

The Food Pyramid

When I was twelve, my Uncle Dan Clark, lived with us for a while. He not only showed me how to be unbeaten in checkers but also how to play chess. Uncle Dan was a very enthralling person, he logged virgin timber in the Tennessee mountains, managed the grounds for a large Hospital in Kentucky, repaired watches and played a lot of chess and checkers.

I have gotten rusty over the years and not played much checkers, so I make mistakes now. But I will never forget the basic strategy for the start of the game of checkers. Keep a pyramid of your pieces in front of you. With this pyramid you can block your opponent from reaching the king row and may gain the advantage by swapping one piece for two. Hold on to the pyramid for as long as inherent and work your plays nearby it. With a small custom you will be able to come to be the master of the game of checkers.

Start out with the pieces on the sides. Move the three pieces on the left all forward one square, keeping the pyramid in tack. Try to assert this strong defensive formation and look for the occasion to swap one for two.

Christmas Craft Ideas - 2 Unique and Easy Christmas Crafts That Make Great Presents

Christmas is a fun and curious time for children of all ages. The older children get, the more they want to show the citizen they love their appreciation. Sure, children receive the majority of the gifts underneath the tree, but that doesn't mean they can't say "thank you" in their own unique way.

Most children find it difficult to buy presents at Christmas time (mostly because they don't have jobs to make money) but there are ways you, as a parent, aunt, uncle, sister, brother, babysitter or instructor can help. Crafts are easy, affordable and fun and give children the occasion to feel prominent during the holidays.

The Food Pyramid

Here are 3 fun and easy Christmas craft ideas that children will love:

1. Light Bulb Christmas Figures.

For children ages: 7 and older

Materials: one light bulb, fabric paint, glue, some string and attractive materials (googly eyes, a mini Santa hat, glitter etc.)

Directions: The first thing you need to do is conclude what Christmas shape you want to make (you can select Santa, Mrs. Clause, an elf, a snowman etc). Let's assume you select Santa. Paint the light bulb as close to skin color as possible. Let it dry. Once dry, hold the light bulb so that the larger end is at the bottom and the metal part is at the top. Now add rosy cheeks with pink paint, lips, a white beard, eyes and a nose. Add any other features you want as well. If you'd like to add a hat, make sure it's glued on tight. The final step is adding the string so you can hang your decoration. If you don't have a hat on your ornament, just add the string to the metal part of the light bulb where it normally screws into the light. You're done. If you added a hat, simply tie the string to the top of the hat - just make sure your hat is on tight or your bulb might end up falling and smashing.

2. Baby Food Jar Christmas Tree.

For Children ages: 10 and older

Materials: 13 empty baby food jars, crazy glue, ribbon, a small set of mini lights, cardboard, other attractive items

Directions: Make sure all of your baby food jars are empty and clean. Take your piece of cardboard and lay it flat. Set up your baby food jars in the shape of a pyramid on top of the cardboard. Once you are satisfied with the way they are setup, trace the covering of the jars with a pencil onto the cardboard. Take the baby food jars off the cardboard and cut out the shape of the tree. Now glue the baby food jars onto the tree-shaped piece of cardboard using strong crazy glue. Once you've glued them, take your set of mini lights and arrange them through the jars as you like (make sure the end of the string is somewhat towards to the bottom of the tree and has adequate room left to plug the lights into the wall). Now decorate the remainder of the tree with ribbon, glitter beads etc. Once all is thoroughly dry, stand the Christmas tree up and plug it into the wall. You have a gorgeous ornamentation that anyone would be thrilled to receive at Christmas time.

Hope you enjoyed manufacture our Christmas crafts. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Cambodian Law on Marriage and house

This description is to bring a slight hint about Cambodian Law on Marriage and family into the world's attention. Throughout the text, from normal data up to the analytical approached over the law herein will be covered.

This Law was adopted during the mandate of the State of Cambodia.

The Food Pyramid

I. Marriage Procedure

Unless arisen from mutual business transaction to enter into wedded life, marriage cannot be proceeding. With reference to lesson Iii, description 3; "A marriage is a solemn ageement in the middle of a man and a woman in a spirit of love in accordance with the provisions of law and with the insight that they cannot dissolve it as they please." This description has indirect imply that marriage is a voluntary decision and not decision made on the basis on any form of external pressure (Article 4 "One party may not force other party to marriage against his/her will. No one can be forced to marry or prevented from having marriage ...)

In compliance to normal principle of social-order mechanism, the Cambodian Law on Marriage and family also requires other elements legal just to make any marriage a legal one. In description 5 of lesson Ii states, "A marriage may be allowed for a man whose age is 20 years or more and a woman whose age is 18 years or more." Except, in the extra case that the woman is pregnant with mutual consents from both party, a man and a woman younger than the legal ages may legally enter into a marriage.

However, marriage is prohibited under these conditions:

- a person whose sex is the same sex as the other;

- a person whose penis is impotent;

- a person who has leprous, tuberculosis, cancer or venereal diseases which are not thoroughly cured;

- a person who is insane, and a person who has thinking defect;

- a person who was bound by prior marriage which is not yet dissolved.

Moreover, marriage is prohibited when the following conditions come to existence:

A marriage "between persons who are relatives by blood or who are relatives by marriage in direct line of all levels, either or not legitimate or adoptive" (Article 7); and
"Between the collateral, either legitimate, illegitimate or adoptive, or either from the same mother, the same father or the same parents, or either relatives by blood or relatives by marriage up to the third level inclusively..." (Article 8).

Ii. Grounds of Divorce:

In reflection to description 3, "A marriage is a solemn ageement in the middle of a man and a woman in a spirit of love in accordance with the provisions of law and with the insight that they cannot dissolve it as they please." The term: they cannot dissolve it as they please shows an indirect implication that disunion can only be made under concrete and legal conditions stipulated within the law.

Like the legal policy for marriage, disunion may also be made on the ground of mutual divorcing consent.

Pursuant to description 38: "divorce is the legal termination of a marriage in the middle of a husband and wife who have been as a matter of fact married and they are both still alive." disunion cannot be entered when any party is deceased, that's why we have the term divorced and widowed.

Article 39 clearly tabulates the grounds for disunion as of the following:

1. Desertion without a good presuppose and without maintenance of and taking care of the child;

2. Cruelty and beatings, persecutions and looking down on the other spouse or his or her ancestry;

3. Immoral behavior, bad conduct;

4. Impotence of penis; and

5. Physical disunion for more than one year.

Iii. Procedures for Divorce:

Procedures for disunion may be, to some extent, overwhelmingly sophisticated, since it has been of the plan that disunion does not only bring negative aspects to the parties, but also to the society. The following paragraphs will deal with valuable presuppose for divorce, jurisdictional court, application procedures and other conditions applied in the divorcing procedures.

Complaint for disunion can be made by one party (husband or wife) or by both parties who mutually agreed to end their bonds of wedded life (Article 40).

Any party or both party who whish to break legal bonds of wedded life shall make the disunion complaint a formal one. Complaint to the court, as addressed above, is sophisticated and formal, so writing rather than oral is strongly suggested; moreover, the plaintiff is also suggested to lodge the complaint by her or himself. With reference to description 42; "The complaint for disunion shall be in writing and shall indicate the reasons for divorce." It is also suggested that reasons for disunion shall be contented in the disunion complaint; this is to make a smooth hearing program and procedures.

However, to whom should the disunion complaint be forwarded to? description 41 stipulates that "the adjudicating jurisdiction for disunion lies with the People's Provincial or Municipal Court where a defendant resides."

Procedures before the hearing
As addressed above, disunion does not only influence the divorcing parties, but the child(ren) as well as the State. So, indeed, the Law enacts different strategies for the court to reconcile the divorcing parties.

According to the Cambodian Law on Marriage and Family, the court is authorized to take "reconciliation" for three times, before the final judgment specifying the disunion judgment in the middle of the parties is issued. Moreover, during each reconciliation session, description must be radically written down in what we call "reconciliation record." And apparently, reconciliation strategies deployed to all the three reconciliation sessions are not the same. description 51 states that "the duration in the middle of each reconciliation shall be at least one month and at most two months." And description 53; "if the reconciliation did not reach an agreement, the People's Provincial or Municipal court must issue summons spirited a husband and wife to come to the court for trial."

Due to the fact that marriage cannot be dissolved as the party please, concrete and sufficient evidence must be presented during the hearing to convince the judge to issue the disunion judgment and if necessary, the court may explore the case.

However, disunion is easy if it is arisen from voluntary and mutual consent of both parties [absence of mistakes or external duress].

Divorce judgment is not one-stop (absolute), the party who does not agree to get divorced his/her spouse is authorized an file an objection or motion within the legal time frame [usually two moths from the date the judgment is publicly announced].

Iv. Effectiveness of Divorce
The Law on Marriage and family does not contribute any definition for the term "divorce", but through my understanding, disunion is a legal rescission of a legal marriage, after the disunion judgment is issued.

Article 69 states that, "a disunion ends a marriage from the day when the final judgment is announced. So as written above, only after the issuance of court's judgment, does the disunion is thought about legal and so enforceable.

However, the case does not only end when the judgment is issued; other cases are also accompanied, such as child or children and properties (movable or real estate). Divorcing parties may share the child or children as well as the asset in accordance with their mutual ageement or in case of there is no contract, they can just take the asset that they own before they share wedded life. description 70 states that "if there is no agreement, each spouse take only his or her asset which he or she has received by inheritance, gift or devise during the existence of the marriage. The asset owned before union existence is called "separate property" and asset earned after the marriage is called "joint property", or "community property." And this society asset may be shared by mutual consent of the parties or court's judgment.

Custody of the child or children, would facilitate one party to have more asset than other party who does not attain the legal custody of the child or children. The party to whom the child or children custodies are not fallen upon, is obliged to contribute alimony, as per his or her quality or mutual consent until the said child or children reach majority age (Article 76).

Decorating Xmas Trees With Cookies and Candy

Decorating xmas trees with cookies and candy is a great way to give your tree that personal touch. It is creative and the results can be marvelous in terms of their creative impact. Decorating an
artificial tree with baked goods is one way to make it look more homey and real. A slim christmas tree unmistakably looks great with decorations made out of slim wrapped candies. The snowy color of
shortbread confections also plays off nicely against any color of tree along with the artificial white christmas tree.

Decorating xmas trees with food goes back to the times before Christ was born. Offerings of food were often located along sills and windows to feed the good spirits and safe from the evil ones. The first
christmas trees were in fact imitations of the pyramid shape of real conifers. The convention of placing pickles and other foods on the steps of cedar pyramids of wood that were hand constructed was very common in Germany before the 16th century. It wasn't until Martin Luther came along and presented the upright tree that was brought indoors and lit with candles that we became customary with the Christmas tree that we know today.

The Food Pyramid

Using food as adornments on evergreen boughs is a time-honored tradition. Maybe the strangest one is the German convention of hanging pickles on the tree. Today you can buy German ornaments made of glass that highlight pickle cartoon characters wearing tiny Santa hats.

Decorating xmas trees with shortbread and ginger bread men is also a tradition that came out of Germanic and Slavic cultures. Of policy today you can buy all kinds of distinct cookie cutters that
certainly pique one's creativity when it comes to development edible xmas decorations. Favorite cookie cutter shapes are Christmas stockings, Santa, reindeer, presents and stars. However you could also decorate your tree with shortbread or gingerbread cut into any shape you like.

There are some unmistakably lively novelty cookie cutters on the store along with ones shaped like nativity scenes. One nice idea might be to decorate your tree with heart shaped cookies. You could
also make one very large angel, decorate it with edible gold and glitter and use it as a tree topper.

Decorating xmas trees with candies can be even more fun. You can hang singular candies from a tree - such as lollipops and foil wrapped chocolates. Toffees wrapped in foil look especially nice on a tall
slim christmas tree. Candies can also be glued together in sunburst shapes to make lively decorations or even strung together to make a long, shiny and tasty garland.

It is also very easy to make xmas tree decorations using pins and Styrofoam balls or backing. Plainly spray the Styrofoam balls with green gold or silver and pin the candies so that they cover the
surface of the ball. A similar idea comes from Martha Stewart who does the same with gumdrops and little marshmallows. You could also use candied fruit. In fact one age old xmas ornamentation is the
oranges that is stuck with cloves and hung from the tree. In ideas you could also use oranges as the base for any type of home made candy ornament.

One idea is to originate a tree topper for your xmas tree using peppermint candy canes. This involves gluing them onto a round Styrofoam ball so that they radiate from the center in the circle. The same thing can be done with gumdrops on toothpicks and lollipops.

By the way, the candy cane is one of the most potent of Christmas symbols and it is unmistakably a sticker of Jesus. A candy maker invented them in Indiana in the late 1800's. He came up with the idea of
bending a plain white peppermint stick. The color white symbolizes the Syn. Clearness and sinless nature of Jesus. The three small stripes to symbolize the pain Christ on the cross. The fancy there are three is
because they describe the Holy Trinity. The one bold stripe represents the blood of Jesus. Right side up it looks like a shepherd's staff because Jesus is the shepherd of man. Upside down, it becomes the letter J symbolizing the first letter in Jesus' name. So candy canes are more than just pretty confections. They have quite a serious meaning.

When it comes to decorating xmas trees, one cannot say sufficient about popcorn. Popcorn is one of the most versatile of xmas tree decorations. Most original is the xmas tree garland that is strung
with the popped kernels. Popcorn balls that are dyed with food coloring also make very lively christmas tree decorations. Left white, however, these popcorn balls look like snowballs hanging on
your tree.

Christmas tree garlands can also be made out of any kind of berries. Cranberries and holly berries (not edible!) make especially nice garlands because of their festive red color.

Some years, cereal fellowships also put out cereal in Christmas colors such as red and green. These types of cereals can also be made into shapes using a Rice Krispy square recipe and hung by a thread.

Another unique idea is to decorate your christmas tree with homemade candy apples. These lively glossy red treats look unmistakably fantastic, especially on a white or green tree. A nice compliment to
the color of the candy apples would be gold chocolate coins or foil covered chocolates in the shape of Santa also strung on the tree. A starburst of candy apples would make a remarkable tree topper for a
slim christmas tree.

When decorating xmas trees with candy and baked goods remember that your success is only as little as your imagination. If you are stuck for ideas, Martha Stewart's cookbooks are an perfect source of inspiration. You can also get great ideas on the Internet and by searching original xmas tree sites to get ideas about how these decorations are supposed to look.

Acn Mlm business - chance Or Scam?

Acn, Inc, is a network marketing company that provides consumers low cost telephone service, internet, wireless service, as well as digital and video phones. They have built themselves into a familiar Mlm company, and claim to be the worlds largest direct jobber of communication products.

Acn has also gained much attention for their income opportunity, and there are some very real concerns about beginning or participating in an Acn business. In this article, we will go through and give an unbiased spin of the pros and cons of doing an Acn business, and see if Acn is a great company opportunity...or a great scam.

The Food Pyramid

1. Acn - The Good

Acn was founded in 1993 by Greg Provenzano, Robert Stevanovski, Mike Cupisz, and tony Cupisz. They control in 19 countries and have over 1,000 employees worldwide. The company itself has a pretty simple goods line - low-cost telecommunication service, internet assistance (Dsl, broadband, and dial-up) and other basic wireless services. They have experienced double-digit increase for the past few years, and claim to reap 0m in income annually. One of the more predominant achieve of Acn is that they have gotten Donald Trump to publicly endorse them as a great company opportunity. So far, so good.

2. Acn - The Bad

Whether or not Acn is a good company opportunity, it is clear that Mr. Trump has no intention of beginning an Acn business. Additionally, production Rvp or Svp (the top positions in Acn) take considerably more work than seeing 3 people...who find 3 people...who find 3 people...etc. Etc.

The principles of growing an Acn company is that the representative will naturally find a few people who are already using telecom service, and switch over to Acn because of the income opportunity. The picture is painted that the jobber can be paid off everyone in their neighborhood who has a telephone...which is most everyone. The problem comes with a marketing idea called positioning.

3. Acn - The Ugly

Acn, like many other Mlm's, teach their distributors to leverage their "warm market", friends and family. However, when a new jobber comes talking to their friends and family about production a mountainous income with a company opportunity...and the jobber is not production any money...there is a credibility issue that occurs, and the jobber is positioned as a gopher for man else's business.

Growing an Acn company can be a great opportunity. They appear to have a good service, but there are plenty of clubs that have great products, and many people that market great products never make a dime. There are also plenty of terrible products that create millions of dollars in income (anyone remember the pet rock?) The incompatibility is the marketer, and their ability to target their market effectively.

In closing, I would say that beginning and developing an Acn company is lucrative if you know how to effectively use the telephone, the Internet, and other efficient marketing tools. It is not a scam, but like any business, success will be carefully by the skill-set of the marketer. Acn is by all means; of course not a lottery label or a stock selection - meaning, you do not just buy in and wait for a payout.

If man does not have the first clue on how to market effectively, then I would suggest they either learn how to be an efficient marketer, or else just use Acn as a way to save a few bucks on your phone bill.

This narrative can be freely published on a website as long as it is not modified in any way along with the author bylines and active hyperlinks.

The point of a salutary Diet As We Age

It is a fact of life that people age. Our once young and strong bodies break down and we become frail and weak, only to find ourselves living in a nursing home, unable to care for our most basic needs. The frail and weak nursing home stage is one choice for your future, but it does not have to be your end result. You do not have to take the aging process in promenade and just accept it. There is something that you can do so that you won't wind up like the majority of the elderly in our country.

You can safe and enlarge your body by fueling with allowable nutrition. Sure, the ideal situation would be to eat healthy your entire life so that by the time you hit 70 years old, you still felt young and vigorous. Just because you have not lived that path your entire life does not mean it is too late to start now. There are fullness of benefits of captivating allowable foods as you age, along with increased strength, strong dense bones, memory holding and healthy hair and skin. The potential to function in life should be motivation adequate to consume a healthy diet. So many elderly people are unable to take care of their basic needs. They cannot faultless even the simplest of tasks, such as carrying in a gallon of milk, because they do not have adequate strength to do so.

The Food Pyramid

Elderly people are at risk for fracturing their bones because they are not dense or strong enough. If you truly want to enjoy your golden years and live life on your own accord, then you need to be eating a well-balanced diet and incorporating both strength and cardiovascular exercises into your daily life.

According to the United States Census Bureau, by the time we reach the year 2050, the percent of elderly people that are in our country will be 20.4 percent. This means that we will need more services for aging Americans such as physicians, nutritionists, nursing homes and other assisted living services. Government data shows that almost 4 million people require aid each day with some aspect of living.

With these staggering numbers, it is imperative that we, as a country, take greater performance in trying to combat this problem so that it does not become a greater financial strain than it already is. people do not want to give the government prestige for when it does something good; however, when it comes to this problem, they have taken some action. people do not have to sit back and wonder what they can do about a healthy diet for the elderly.

The United States group of Agriculture's National Agriculture Library has a faultless section devoted to Lifecycle Nutrition. This site has a wealth of facts from some of the top, most respected institutions in the country, along with the National make of Aging, National Library of rehabilitation and United States National make of Health, as well as many respected colleges and universities.

Requirements for the Elderly are Different

As you enlarge straight through the human lifecycle, you will seek that your nutritional needs differ as time goes on. While the need for potential whole foods does not change, our needs in terms of macro- and micronutrients will start to differ. Such examples would consist of elderly people needing to consume more vitamin D and less iron in their diet.

Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin that can whether be obtained by sun exposure or from sure foods, such as dairy products. It plays an important part in calcium absorption, is valuable for bone growth and prevents bones from becoming thin, fragile or misshapen. This vitamin is important to the elderly because they are at risk for diseases such as osteoporosis and are more prone to falling and breaking their bones.

Not only are there differences in micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) for the elderly, there are also differences in macronutrients (carbohydrates, fat and protein) as well. A few years back, the United States Food and Drug supervision released their new version of the food guide pyramid, called My Pyramid.

More recently, scientists at Tufts University have released a modified version of this pyramid that takes into catalogue the dietary needs of the elderly population. For the most part, elderly people need to consume the same things that younger people do. The elderly need to focus on a balanced diet that contains potential sources of protein, whole unaltered fruits and vegetables, fullness of whole grains and, especially, lots of fluids. This new pyramid is designed so that older adults can have a visual representation of their needs. Foods that they should be eating are depicted by large identifiable pictures.

One thing that the modified pyramid suggests is for older people to consume freezing and canned foods as well. The reasoning behind this is that freezing and canned sources can be pulled out for a single serving meal and have a longer shelf life. If the elderly person does not have a chance to get out or has person replenishing their shop of food for them, then it is good to have freezing and canned food on hand. Other great way to make sure that the elderly get their dietary requirements that falls in line with this theme is by using liquid protein.

Elderly folks need to be captivating potential protein on a regular basis so that their bodies will function at optimal levels. Liquid protein shots give the elderly the same advantage as other packaged foods (like their canned fruits and vegetables.) These vials of liquid protein can be incorporated into their daily meals and should they not consume the entire thing, they can reseal it and save it for later. Not only will they be getting what they need, but they will also have the convenience that fits into their lifestyle. Should the elderly consume liquid protein in conjunction with allowable exercise, they will continue to keep up their muscle mass, which is very important so that they can faultless basic living tasks unassisted.

As we age, it is important to remember that we need to continue on the path of a healthy lifestyle. Our aging bodies need sure requirements so that we will keep functioning and living life to the fullest. Diets that are rich in vitamin D, calcium and protein are what we need to keep healthy. If we combine these things into our lifestyle along with exercise, then we will be able to pronounce a higher potential of life for a longer period of time.

Slow-Twitch Vs Fast-Twitch Muscle Fiber Training

Muscle groups in the body are comprised of two types of fibers: Slow-twitch and Fast-twitch. Comprehension the divergence in the middle of the two, as well as the training methodologies which lead to prosperous training of each area, will lead to the recruitment of the top inherent estimate of fibers, and should be very leading to bodybuilders!

Slow-twitch

The Food Pyramid

The first kind is Type I fibers, or slow-twitch muscle fibers. These fibers have very strong aerobic quality for oxidation, they contract very slowly, and they are very useful in endurance activities. These muscle fibers are "hit", or engorged with nitrogen-rich blood, while higher rep training, specifically in sets of 12 to 20 reps. This type of training is often neglected by bodybuilders.

Fast-twitch

This group of muscle fibers is called Type Ii, and is carefully to be of the fast-twitch variety. These fibers aid with short, heavy lift requiring short bursts of power. They are not effective in longer-term training, but are very useful in brief, high-intensity training like we see in bodybuilding or powerlifting. This is the training methodology that most trainers use in the gym.

If you currently train your body using only low- or high-rep schemes, it is very inherent that you are neglecting a large estimate of muscle fibers in each muscle group. Powerlifters who always use rep schemes of 2 to 5 reps are completely ignoring slow-twitch fibers. Likewise, trainers who favor machines and higher rep schemes are neglecting their fast-twitch fibers, which are significantly more leading in bodybuilding than slow-twitch fibers.

The lesson here is simple. You must vary your rep ranges in order to recruit the largest inherent estimate of muscle fibers of both types when training. Any bodybuilder or powerlifter who doesn't vary rep ranges is significantly limiting his or her bodybuilding success by leaving millions of muscle fibers untrained while each workout. As stated, bodybuilding training typically complex more fast-twitch fibers. However, as you move closer and closer to your finite inherent for muscle building, it suddenly becomes clear that training a large group of untrained fibers might just be a great idea!

Duties of Men in aged Egypt

It is believed that, in the aged world women were practically treated equal to men. But even in aged Egypt, which is one of the oldest civilizations, it was always women who did the household work and men used to teach their young boys how to do enterprise and trade. So, the role of men in aged Egypt was clearly defined as the breadwinners of the family.

Women from high class community were given a great place in the very first dynasty by being allowed to build tombs of their own after their death with their own statues. As ages passed, men became the heirs of the family, and women started depending on men socially and economically. Women were often shown in the form of group statues from the fifth dynasty.

The Food Pyramid

Women started taking care of the basic needs of the family. From the excavations done in Egypt, the wives in the Middle and Old kingdoms are seen doing household work like manufacture food and serving their husbands. Although the community was male dominated, women had a bit freedom. During the duration when the Greeks started establishing homes in Egypt in the first millennium Bce, women lost all their freedom, and men became the focal point of a family and the society.

Egyptian women never enjoyed the leisure as many citizen today think, though they had more leisure when compared to women in other societies. They were restricted to select their profession. They were mostly home makers, very few became priests, entertainers and hardly a few were rulers. Though it is said that women were restricted doing household work, even the median man in the aged Egypt did not have a lot of pro options.

Nonetheless, when you look at the role of men in aged Egypt, it is clear that men were the ones earning members of the family.

Bio Pyramid

In the ongoing power debate, biomass power is getting a lot of play among politicians. To understand the concept, it first helps to understand the bio pyramid.

Bio Pyramid

The Food Pyramid

All of the organisms in the world ensue orders of classification. Either you choose to put them into groups of plants and animals, herbivores and carnivores, or any other of the many separate types of classification systems, organisms can be put into many groups in order to understand their relationship to one another. One way to classify organisms is to put them into their order, or hierarchy, in the food chain. In this way, we can see how animals and other organisms present to each other based on what they consume.

There are several separate ways to look at the food chain, and one foremost and useful tool in this area is the bio pyramid. A bio pyramid is a graphical chart that shows the comparative mass of the consumers to the producers in the food chain. This can be helpful in determining how power is transferred to the top levels of the pyramid from the lowest levels.

Each level in a bio pyramid is composed of a trophic level. Trophic levels are groupings of separate "consumer" groups, such as former producers (usually just plants or other photosynthetic organisms) rising all the way up to carnivores (such as humans). While a typical biological pyramid might group these consumers in order of power produced, a bio pyramid shows them in order of total mass from highest to lowest. This often means that the former consumers, such as the plants, are at the lowest because they are more numerous and take up more mass. The levels are built upon then by how many upper level organisms could survive based on the level below. An example can be seen in this sea bio pyramid:

It would take 1,000,000 kg of phytoplankton (1st level), to feed 100,000 kg of zooplankton (2nd level), to feed 10,000 kg of shrimp (3rd level), to finally feed 1,000 kg of large fish. The final level, the 5th, would only be able to have 100 kg of shark supported by the levels below.

In this way, a bio pyramid shows the inefficiency of the food chain, and lets researchers know that if a level was able to be skipped (such as a shark dipping down and eating shrimp instead of fish), more power would be conserved and the food chain would lose less power along the way. Given this fact, a bio pyramid is an foremost tool when looking at the laws of conservation of power among separate classes of organisms.
